we comp"r"ain a lot..

yes.. medico's are not saints.. firstly, we comprain about food...

food in uni is crap.. its extremely expensivestingytastelessuninterstingboringandyuky. the asian food selection is bad.. mainly cos it does nt taste anything remotely asian and its more of the instant microwavable kind.. the unasian selection.. is urms.. also plain.. like.. bread, toast, more bread and pasta and.. toast... which is not exactly enticing..

then we comprain about the food out of uni as well.. lols.. there is broadway shopping where the food is generally..
  • cheaper (like $7 per dish kind of cheap)
  • bigger serving (like 4 strains of noodles instead of 3)
  • oily (oil in perth is really cheap esp. if its been reused)
  • healthy (like 4 teaspoons of salt instead of 5 kind of healthy)
ok.. so bascially u get the idea.. the food is bad.. there is also the "restaurant" which sells students meals.. but those are.. :S really really sad.. anyways some guys from engineering decided to boycott the restaurant for the following reasons:
  • service is bad
  • food is bad
  • cant sleep there
  • cant study there
  • cant go in there and not buy food
  • cant spend less then $6.80
  • cant use laptops
  • cant be too noisy
  • cant stay after 2.30pm cos that means more pay for their workers
THEN.. we comprain about uni life itself.. oh which i would be brief in stating...
  • timetabling is bad.. we have like 3 hr breaks in the middle of everything for no reason
  • timetabling is bad.. again.. too long hrs in a row without breaks
  • lectures are too boring
  • lectures are too slow
  • lectures are too fast
  • too little taught in lectures
  • too much taught in lectures

the following is the WHO's definition of health which we have had to memorise last week for the exam.. (and of which i have comepltely forgotten) ;
"health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity"

hence, the above is a statment of how unbecoming studying in medicine has become. in view of the comp"r"ains that we have, how is it possible that we can remotely attain any form of good mental health. and being doctors in training, if we are not even healthy, how is it possible that we could wish our patients to be healthy?

random quote: i told my doctor"it hurts when i do that" he said "dont't do that"

two ducks i met while studying in school: 1 is called peking duck, the other is called roast duck
