LOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGESSSSST word in the english language

DID YOU KNOW:

that the longest word known in the english language per-say is a name of a protein, which happens to be the longest protein known to mankind, which hence, suitably and rightfully was given the longest name ever given to a protein, which coincidentally also became the longest known word in the english language that surpasses even supercalifradulisticexpialidocious. and in reading the above exceptionally longwinded sentence, which as alluded to in my previous post, would have surpassed and set a new record for which the above is the longest sentence ever written by my standards, however the point lies not in the long'ness of my long, longwinded sentence or statement whichever you prefer but to which that the longest word in the world is a medically related word. and in saying so, gives me some purpose in life i guess.. =P

sadly however, the people who coined the name for the protein got caught in the wind of having silly abbreviations and short cuts and succint'ed name words or nouns for that matter, that they ruined the whole point in creating a ridiculously long name for a protein by calling it TITIN (not to be confused with TinTin - quote wiki). this 5 letter word destroys much of the meaning in which original name was infused with which contains an interesting length of 189,819 characters. the protein itself has 26,926 amino acids which might partly explain the incredilous length of "titin".

obviously, without meaning to be the ultimate killjoy, i will not post the full name of the protein on the blog. if you are honestly looking to memorise it or jus awe at it or jus simply convince yurself that i am not making this up, jus click on the title of blog which has the webpage link embedded in it.

otherwise, to do the founders of the protein some justice. some mention mus indeed go to mention the function of the protein. nothing much is said on wiki apart from the fact that it "is important in the contraction of striated muscle tissues."

so there you have it. as one of the more controversal but ultimately well meaning motto's of a certain prestigious school, "NEW DAY NEW DISCOVERY" ><"

having learnt something new, or not, at this juncture, its...
"So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye"
