you have kidneys for brains

begone with reproductive and herald in a new chapter of renal (literally). so today we started having new lectures from which further embellished us with useful and life saving knowledge:

  • DID YOU KNOW: "kidneys are kidney shaped. that is why they are called kidneys" - a certain lecturer
  • the histology of the kidney is as follows, external fasci-Zzzzzzz
  • "today we are talking about menopa-"QUIET PLEASE" " ... "so the different hormones involved "QUIET PLEASE" are as follo-Zzzzzz"
  • notes that we took down"
    • someone we know wishes that she is a kidney
    • the same someone loves luis (our lecturer)
    • KEEP QUIET JON
    • "you raise me up!!! when i am on yur shoulders!!!! you raissssssss-(choke) eee me up.. KEEP QUIET JON!!!!"
    • "bu dong ni de hei she you MOoOoOooooOOoO0!!"
    • "the kidneys are really the internal organs u dun wanna lose.. a kidney injury will not kill you immediately, but it will certainly screw u over on the long run -anon uni mag article"
having said the above, you can be rest assured that precious tax payers dollars are appropriately spent in nurturing the net generation of thinker's leaders and pionee-Zzzz

now to the topic of assignmenting, as alluded to in one my previous posts, essay writing is not exactly one of my forte's. but essay writing is not the hardest bit. in fact citation at the end of the essay is the worse part of it all. there are a myriad of different citation structures (all uncannily named after american cities.. chicago, vancouver etc.. ). better still there are more ways to mess and fail on citations and given that it is worth 20% its not really something u wanna mess with.

so there is the issue on legitimate sources in which cite. hence a site like "www.makeyourowndool.com/kidney" mite not be quite ideal. neither is "www.vogue.com/reproductive_notes.htm". but believe or not, the critical acclaimined wiki is not ideal as well. incase u are not aware, wiki is a open domain encyclopedia, meaning anyone can change it. for instance in the case below, som well meaning individual mus have sought to make learning about the kidney more layman -friendly and hence inserted the following ... (and NO for the last time i swear it was not me)

the shot was captured at 2.30pm today. and it was changed half hr later

highlight portion says: 'the kidneys are pretty cool. they help you maintain a goodbalance of health and bladder problems'

so, sorry to disappoint you hardcore wiki lovers, but the world is not round, neither is the sky always blue, nor the moon always there, or the birds always flying, or the freeways always jammed. actually the freeways are always jamemed.

am gonna be running now, reverse of the route we took the other day. will post soon. till then take care and enjoy the weekend!!!
