sleepless in perth

apparently, 30% of medical students have what is known as "psychological morbidity". we were told this in a lecture today highlighting the importance of the PPD program (professional and personal development program). we have to in 4 weeks, select our area of interest and the faculty would choose an mentor for us for the next 4 years..

i know i will def stay away from orthopedics.. and probs paed as well.. so the thing is whether to really put emergency and whether to include surgery... :S mehs, i have 4 weeks to decide.. so yeah.

on a totally different topic, perth has gotten exciting suddenly. i have a wedding to attend which i realised i have not rsvp'ed to. that and i have no tux for the dinnner event.. ><" there are also surprise events for friends and me being home alone during the mid semester break. not that that is particular exciting... bt yeah.. well.. the car is all to me.. so :D of late have not been sleeping particularly well, it is funny how like my friend pointed out that i am not tired at all after work.. not that that has anything to do with my drinking 3 cups of coffee. :P no.. really its not.. coffee was in the afternoon.. but yeah. even though i study and work and what else not. i am never ever tired enough to sleep when i hit the pillow.. so have been listening to music waiting for it to put me to sleep... which works.. until some loud hit plays at 2 am in the morning and wakes u up ><" sigh. i really shud tidy my playlist. haha. anyways off to i lecture now.. catching up on work i did not do over the weekend.. kinda took time off for work and jus to unwind. which is cool. apart from the major guilt now that i realise i am more behind then usual ><" sigh..
