itouch missing..

the idea was the blog about today, how i had a 1 hour car trip back and forth for myself to ponder on things, how i had typed it up in my itouch whilst i was in the car. and no, i was not driving, otherwise i'd be tree hugging or somewhere else by now, but my brother has my itouch now so yeah no go there.

so instead, i shall blog about work yesterday. for those of you who know what i am referring to, and for those of you who dun, i am sorry i cant let on too many details, cause it is about other people's lives, and hence there is a level of confidentiality.

so, after's Monday stint on the new LOTS dispensing and till software, i am still struggling to get used to the new system.

tuesday was slightly better. at least at 8 am in the morning it was. had a play around with the thing when there were no patients around, which helped. then it got busy, and busier, and busier still. and it did not help that not only were there only 3 staff members there, but the owner of the pharmacy was there as well.. so no stress much. at about 12 the order came in, and then we had to check it off and stock it in the dispensary, and before you know it, it was already 3.45pm. so lunch time for me in subway, which included a red bull.

it was a rather blue day cause somethings happened. for one, lady came in with her partner and daughter, and instead of paying for decent hair lice treatment which her daughter needs, she instead bought a meager anti lice comb and spent the rest on a needle pack.

another lady came in dressed in rags and asked to buy a needle pack and when told of the price, commented that it was too expensive and said she had no money for it at all. she left with her partner but came back half an hour later with just enough money for the needle pack. from what we have gathered, she went around begging for loose change from people.

then i messed up, demagnatising a whole box of security tags, meaning i get a hundred dollars knocked off pay to replace the thing. all because i was not the most mindful then.

so yeah, 12 hr shift in 8 paragraphs, 2 redbulls and a cappucino provided by a drug rep. swell day indeed.
